comfortable now in our little huts. It seems to me something like a glorified survey camp. I am sleeping on a folding cot just like the one Dad carried a couple of summers ago. The government gives us three good new blankets and these, supplemented by a sleeping bag, bath robe, British warm coat, and leather flying coat sufficient to keep me warm at night. Tommy's bed is alongside my bed. There are three others in our hut - two Eastern Canadians and a Londoner. We have a nice little mess for our squadron alone, and live on the fat of the land, or as much of it as is obtainable.

There is little else that I can write about that comes to our ken so I am at the end of my tether and will have to say good night for this time with love to you both as ever
