So you are going to keep hens after all. I hope they will lay satisfactorily with eggs the price they are now. I'll that chicken house Dad's is the neatest in Victoria; in fact, will be quite an addition to the establishment.

I received a letter from Aunt Mary a few days ago, in which she said she had not been well. She talks, or rather, writes as if she would like to sell out the ranch and retire. I can hardly blame her, for she is never really well and life on the ranch uses her up and is taking all her money.

Well, dear people, lunch time has arrived and after lunch we go on a job so I shall have to shut down for this time.
