Q;- What repairs did you make in this winton rear end before you put it in? these repairs? A;- Transmission rear shaft bearing carried from the transmissions to the worn shaft. The drive shaft of the Winton was four inches too short. Q;- You lengthened it? A;- No. I built a new one. Most of them are built that way. He wanted to have everything just so. Q;- These are the only things you put in? A;- Yes. Q;- Then you did nothing else to the gear or brakes? A;- The brakes, I tightened them up.
