Mail Armament Pay Certificate to Cox's.

Russians capture Enzerum, in Armenia. Take a walk around by Dale and as usual run into that wretched couple. - 51st Corp. + Maddridge's siste-in-law hugging in lee of the hedge - Some people evidently happier at St. Anns. On duty all day and night.

18 Friday (49-317)

Make out cheques 799864, 799857 - Apr 20 - Mar10 - [pound sign] 25 each covering all I can spare for 4 mos. Feb. Mar. Apr. May. (Mail 19th II) Dirty, squally day- stay in quarters, except for short walk around by W. Blockhouse [Loas?] Casualties Sept. 23 - Oct. 7th 59, 000 odd. Play Jones at chequers + lose one game to the colonel, much to his elation. Submarine reported nearby, signalling.

19 Saturday (50-316)

2h 29 m A.M. (Greenwich) Cheques from Ottawa not cashed, and returned - S.A. and A. Pay. Whole letters - With the Col. + Lt. Coe locating a new datcem for the PF Walk along the cliffs to W. Dale+ home by road.

20 Septusgesima Sun (51-315)

Walk across country to Rath past Gateholm I'd - Get soaking wet. Church Parade 3 pm at checkers with colonel + Jones in evening.
