Practical work Ranging - Determine church 4 mile away by working up 50 [sab-base?], carelessly measured & no angles double read - Go to pieces Today - Headache very bad - Study until after 11 but really lost time. Revolver shooting left & right hand, trigger cocking, rapid - 30 yds. Score highest of class 37 (Poss. 48) Walker 2. Warring 26. - Myles flinches & shuts eyes when he pulls 11 TUESDAY [11-355] Hilary Law Sittings begin Redrill & laying 6" gun. with position [dotter?] Bewlay & I Tie highest in revolver practice 31 out of possible 48. Afternoon with S.M. Lashleigh laying out lines of fire. In evening redrill on old exam. papers with Lieut. Webster Study until 1130, but have a hopeless headache. 12 WEDNESDAY [12-354] 3h38 A.M. (Greenwich) Revolver- Final marks (total 196 possible) Bewlay 156 (1) Swannell 140 (2) Gray 85 44th Batt. Aver 112.2 Walker 79 57th " 96- a Beckett 65 (14) Final Redrill under Lieut. Webster Study until 1230 but don't accomplish very much
