Saturday Sept. 25th 1915 Working all day and part of evening

Address 107103 Tpr. E.H. Burden "C" Squadron 2d CMR. 1st CMR. Brigade CEF. France British Front - Severe fighting all yesterday in La Bassee Region on ground captured by us the previous day. The enemy making determined counter-attacks East & North East of Loos. The result of this fighting is that except just North of Loos we hold all ground gained including Loos Total number of prisoners collected after todays fighting is 2,500 with 9 field-guns
