Wednesday Sept 22d 1916 Move over To Army Corps H.Q. at Bailleiul - Given Transport in special auto - On the road meet a brigade of the 2d Contingent - among others the 27th - All Tired hot and dusty but very cheery - Remarkably fine physique of the men strikingly noticeable. Neal and I hang around the Grande Place for a couple of hours - Finally [Trounce?] Turns up and we look for billets. Neal and I get a nice clean room over a little boutique - 15 Rue des Capucins.
