Thursday - September 9th 1915

Morning plotting notes, afternoon go to Transport to get clothing - usual 'putting off' & indifference of QM. Sergts

- Get pair of boots at Bde QM. Stores - Finally in disgust go to Sgt. Maj. Forbes & get an office to phone the transport to give us what we need - as a result the QM. very active - get jackknife, trousers blanket & braces.

Have supper at the Deraumaux's

Get my torn kilt mended - have to sit in the kitchen wearing a blue apron of Marie's during the process.

Sentry boxes being put up at every cross-road.
