Make a reducTion from an RE. Plan - Take a Two hour walk to meteren + back across the fields. Heavy arTillery fire all day on The lefT + much shelling of aeroplanes One Boche aeroplane an "AllaTross", was noT only hiT by our anTi-aircrafT guns , buT pursued , hiT + driven to earTh by one of our aeroplanes - 9- a.m 200 yds behind our line. PiloT killed by MG Fire from our aeroplane -Observer (LieuT.) wounded by shrapnel. In following from enemy's fire un-hit . .As The Boche aeroplane was coming down + afTer iTs descenT, when iT overTurned , The enemy fired aT iT vigorously wiTh shrapnel , buT did noT succeed in desTroying iT.
