Long walk - Says my papers are being blocked as I am more useful as a non-com. - wants me To geT miTchells Colonel To give me a leTTer To a RE. Col., and promises To be whaT he can Too - His descripTion of his on TreaTmenT is a seeaThing commenTary on The promoTion sysTem. - His applicaTion was aT The war office 5 weeks simply waiting The signaTure of some official.
