Hit inspection as usual & general clean up. Walk in afternoon with Campbell & attend Conan Doyle lecture. Heavy built man 55. Fluent speaker, no notes, lecture rather a disappointment, too many details & failure to give a vivid picture of Mons, Ypres, Aisne, Marne as a whole.
