Canadian Expeditionary Force Certificate of Service ISSUED TO OFFICERS AND NURSING SISTERS J.C.T. 2-31 E.S.
This is to Certify that (Rank) Lieutenant (Name in full) Erroll Pilkington GILLESPIE, Enlisted in The 2nd Depot Battalion, British Columbia Regiment, Canadian Expeditionary Force, on the XXXXX day of XXXXX 191__ AND WAS APPOINTED to COMMISSIONED RANK in The 2nd Depot Battalion, British Columbia Regiment, CANADIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE on the Nineteenth day of December 1914.
He SERVED in CANADA, ENGLAND and FRANCE with the 2nd Depot Battn. British Columbia Regt., Att. 1st Reserve Battn., Can. Machine Gun Depot, 1st Bn. Can. Machine Gun Corps. #2 District Depot. and was STRUCK OFF THE STRENGTH on the Twelfth day of May 1919 by reason of General Demobolization.
