Well don't get tied up in any work now before I get back, we've got to have some fun first before we go to the Peace River! Enclosed is an article that might be of interest. So long old nut. E.P.G.

Dear McGregor -

I got your letter all right written from R.A.C. dated 8th Feb. It took about 10 days to reach me and as you were then only on short leave before sailing I knew I hadn't time to get a reply back to you. I've no idea the actual date you left so I haven't heard from Florence if you ever got off! But I should imagine you must have sailed about the 20th and by this time you should be getting pretty clse to Home -- Bonnie work old bean, I wish I were with you! I hope you will find them all at home in the pink, and an odd bottle of something lying around that you can celebrate on! Pretty flat these days with prohibition in force!
