Glad to hear that he is sleeping fairly well these times, hope you are yourself Mother -- By the way I hope the good man's finger did not give him much trouble, you mentioned it in your last letter. You certainly seem to have been having a lot of trouble with strikes in Victoria, what with the BC Electric and the P.O. Strike, things have been in a bad state, hope things are running smoothly again now. I wonder how many letters were lost while
