My dear Father,
Just a short line as I have written so recently I haven't any further news, but I want to acknowledge the splendid tin of Dudleighs Dope which I received from you a few days ago. It was awfully kind of you to send me such a generous supply again & I can tell you it is very much appreciated by yours truly. I have come to the conclusion that one would have to go some "to find a better dope" than Dudleigh puts up. it is A.1. The new tin just arrived
