My dear Mother
I'm afraid my good intentions in the letter writing line have rather slackened off lately, the reason being I suppose because I've been having too good a time on the week ends with Florence in London. However I will try & give you all my latest news now though I really haven't much. First of all I want to say how extremely good you & Pa have been about writing. I have certainly been doing awfully well in letters lately, & I hope you are not taxing yourselves to write more
