came in for the handsome umbrella, it was a pretty thought on Madge's part (Bert wd say). I think a snap of you in your "new green silk summer suit, & new green silk umbrella" would be quite in order, so see that you get taken & send me one, anything in the way of snaps would be gratefully received! By the way I notice Dugald acknowledges some snaps I sent him, did you ever get the ones I sent you or Father, because you never acknowledge them if so. Glad you got the hanky I sent you, & were pleased with it, as a matter of fact there should have been two in the same parcel. You may have acknowledged photos & the hankys before as I rather fancy from the way your last letter reads I have missed a letter in between. Glad you are managing to find time to do little gardening, it must be good for your eyes to get out in the open air. Are you launching any more counter attacks on the Ivy? Was interested to hear the nasturtiums I planted had really come up, & not looking too bad eh? I was very much amused
