Just a line to let you know your tobacco fetched up OK yesterday. Ever so many thanks for it. A fine large tin full & it has arrived in excellent shape, not too dry. It couldn't have arrived at a more opportune moment as I was completely out of "baccy" at the time, & I have since been enjoying several good pipes full! Curious that I should have just posted my letter to Mother when it arrived, this is why I am sending you a p.c. as I gave all the news I had in Mother's letter & haven't really anything more of interest at present. By the way matches are beastly scarce article over here & if they would allow you to send any through the post I would be awfully glad to get a small supply from time to time. Cheer oh, excuse hurried line. Your affect son Erroll
