I am anxious to have this officer posted to the Bn under my Command. Lieutenant Gillespie's brother & cousin served in this Bn. Sgd W. Tweedie Lt Co. 4th Bn A & S Highlanders.
I think probably if I present this letter to my present O.C. I might be able to arrange things; Oliphant & I are rather anxious to keep together & I might be able to fix him up too, if I finally do decide to transfer. We are going to have a try out with the
