Continued French lessons with Perce

July 25. Tues. Note from Tottie with Kodak pictures of brother + Edie + one of Edith taken in Klotzsche.

July 24. Thurs. Today an 8 days punishment for the whole camp commences. About a fortnight ago a soldier thought a stone had been thrown at him outside the camp + the military authorities think that somebody in the camp might have thrown it. Race course + all games, including cards, chess etc. all shows + concerts closed for 8 days. The authorities aforesaid wanted to make it 16 days. Parcel from Mrs. Davies. Bread quite spoiled as usual.
