Mar. 24. Sat. Card to T.
Mar. 28. Palm Sunday. Each half of field in middle of race tracks opened today for Recreation Grounds. First football match. Baron von Taube "kicked off." Heavy snow p.m. Card from T. My throat better.
Mar. 30. Tues. Box with bread & cigarettes from Tottie. Barracks has not been heated for four days. About 12 prisoners, mostly Jews, and several soldiers arrested for being guilty of getting letters or packages out of the camp.
Apr. 2. Good Friday. To divine service at 3 p.m. Mr Williams (fr. Berlin) took service. Sacred Concert 6:30 p.m. by orchestra (about 45 pieces). Sullivan's Overture "In Memorium" & part of Hayden's "The Passion" Oratorio being well performed. "The Graf" the Baron & Baroness & other officers present.
April 3. Sat. Young Debler arrested a.m. & given 72 hours. Card fr. Tottie.
April 6. Tues. Package from T. with shoes, hat, eggs, etc. and crackers from Frau. Pfotenhauer. Debler released (see 3rd).
Apr. 8. Thurs. Recd 30 M from Dres.
