1915.

Feb 6. Arrested at Barenfels early this a.m. & brought to Dres. locked up in gaol there with about 24 white & black Britishers.

Feb 8. All Brit prisoners removed from prison in Dresden & brought to Ruhleben (see description "barracks" etc.)

Mar. 8. Kitchens & canteen taken over by Captains. Ger. Contractor fired.

Mar 15. No heating in Bar. for last 2 days

Mar. 22. Brown bread ration reduced fr 500 gr per man per day , to 300 gr A thick slice)

Mar. 30. No heating in bar. during last 4 days

Apr. 19. P.9's separated from British.

May 8. News of sinking of "Lusitania"

May 24 Italy declares war on Austria

July 8 Hot water tickets came into use

Aug 2. Aug Bank Holiday. Fair etc.

Sept.1. Camp to be in bed 8.45 Lights out 9
