Jan 6th I went with Webb back to tea & then then to Avenes - 2nd Lieu Wallace R.F.A. called. M. Le Maire called to have a glass of fine old red wine.

Jan 7th Worked in Orderly room - then on to Rebrueve and had lunch with 2nd Lieu Brooks - after lunch walked to Frevent & had tea then met Webb there then on to the Hotel Amiens & had dinner - motored back & very heavy rain - (Sunday)

Jan 8th Motored to St Pol with Webb to do some shopping then on to Aubigny & Agnes & then on to Grouves & had tea & dined with Major King & Capt Shilson & Capt - The Rev Johnson 12th Div A.L.C. had a most enjoyable time - Snow & rain & then back to Etres-Wamin via Habareq & Avenes-Le-Comte.

Jan 9th Motored to Avesnes-Le-Comte with Webb - then saw Capt Thomas & then
