three hours with him. Could not find out where the 15th boys were till I was comeing back and then it was to late. Jackson is just about three miles from them so I guess he'll look them up if he can get a pass. he is in with a fine bunch and one of the best field ambulances over here. Gee but he sure was crazy to get over here, he let his leave in England go so as to get over, but I guess every body is crazy like that in Eng. but I think I would of waited for it to dry up a little if I had been him. he was a guard when I got there when he came out his eyes stuck out a foot. Gee but he says your fat. I thought you was a hundred miles from here. I guess I'll be able to look him up later on. Seen Brock Jack [?uk's] friend on the way down he just came of leave. he is sure looking fine he is a Corp. in the Div. Supply Column. I guess it is realy the CASC. he sure has a bomb-proof job. Well we are busy clipping horses now. there are four of us on it steady. we are excused from all other duties
