-2-

I am very sorry that I was not able to get down to see you again before I left as I had fully intended to, but you know what a rush there always is at the last.

This is rotten paper, am using a rotten pen and the writer is a rotten writer, so you will have to excuse scrawl Miss Russell.

I hope that everything is going along as smoothly as ever in the library and will you please remember Geoff. and myself to Mr. Scholefield and all. I hope that Mr. Scholefield is quite well again and that the rest of the staff is in O.K. form.

I can tell you it is a treat handling this way to what it was on a troopship, but for myself I would much rather be going up the Gorge in a canoe. No more news so I will close this time. With very best wishes to all.

Very sincerely yours. Eustace
