Dear Sir

You will no doubt wonder at receiving a letter from me But I expect by this post also you will get some red letter books I have sent on. Well to explain who I am my brother George Gilchrist late of Barkerville Who is now in this country with the 54 Batt Canadian Contingent Bramshott Camp Hants Gave me your address to to send out the Red letters as I had a great many and he said they were well liked at Barkerville

We had him home with us for a few days at xmas and enjoyed himself very much I can assure you We were delighted to see him after being so many years away from this country. I shall be pleased to hear from
