anyway. I saw Scotty Gilchrist this morning as we came out of the trenches but had no chance to talk to him just merly to pass the time of day they came here with us I have not seen Tom or Harry Brierly since we came here Tom is a sniper & Harry is Cooking. Jim McKenna he is cooking now too in our outfit and is as fat as a butcher he went over to Ireland and got married before we left England we met Jess Neurdak & Archie Spears that used to work at the Valley for Bonner and a lot more that used to be around the country Mickey Mercer & Jack Ellis are here also & doing fine Scotty Gilchrist is a full corporal now Big Jim Murphy is with us but has been transfered to another plattoon with a bunch
