Dear Fred
Your very welcome & long looked for letter 11/1/17 with its typed news sheets enclosed reached me 10 days ago. First let me say I meant Little River, Clearwater was what we usually called it over at Keithley. You say you received a card from me I sent two. One a French silk card to Mrs Tregillus & one Batt card, both in the same envelope addressed to you please let me know if both came. There was no letter with them if I remember rightly. We have to post our letters unsealed through a Cpl & sometimes a nice silk card goes missing. We try to make them useless to others by scribling names on the back. The 10$ tale shows the old weakness of the family man belongs to. I am pleased to know that we absent ones are not forgotten
