in the South of England. have enclosed a few views of nearby villages etc - You can't go anywhere on the Island without seeing "Khake" and Camp's, from Hell to Breakfast time it has spoilt the old time effect of peace & quietness, and also spoilt the inhabitants, even the youngsters are turning into beggars, you go for a walk any where, and half a dozen will be round you "give us a "I.penny" soldier an yer'l ave good luck". Got a fag soldier, and all like that As far as the grown-ups are concerned they've learnt to graft and beat you a thousand different ways. The Country is not the same as it used to be, and I'm longing to get Back to Bear Lake, away from the sickening effects of this bloody war. I cannot give you any information as to our movements, as its taboo. However Fred I shall be pleased to hear from you again at any time you care to write Everything is running smoothly and our time is pretty well occupied drill of all kinds that we never had any idea of. Am writing Harper this mail. Well so long Kinds regards to Mrs & kiddies

yours truly G.F. Turner
