My Dear Elizabeth -

Your very welcome letter of Jan 15th arrived yesterday and of course I was glad to get it. I am still on the working party putting in the dug outs. It is slow work so the job will last for some time yet. I go back to our depot next week and a new bunch come on the job. I just found out where Harry Williams is today from some 47 battalion men he has just got a job in traffic control in the town next to our depot
