fed up with this soldiering and hope that it is all over soon. If you can possibly talk Herbie and Vernon out of enlisting do so because they have no business joining yet, and the whole thing is rotten for so young a fellow. There is not any real news to tell you so I will stop. Write to me soon. Give Ellen and Marnie my very best.
