I am still in hospital and have quite a spell of indigestion influenza etc but I will be out soon as long as long as I do'nt have to go back to France until spring I will be perfectly happy but I am hoping that a commission will come my way soon and then I wont go back at all if I can help it not in the infantry anway. If Bert is going to enlist tell him to stay clear of all Battalions. The A.S.C. or heavy artillery is the best
