I started this letter yesterday, but could not finish it. Mayor Winch came and took me to drive his Rolls Royce. Say maybe it is'nt some car, eh! After I came back at night Mrs Winch gave me a chicken supper. Owen says I am getting fat. I weigh exactly 135 pounds. I was out to the Willows today in the Ambulance and saw Frank Christy. Mrs Forbes has asked Frank to bring me down to dinner some time. He also sends his love to the family. We have about twelve fellows in our Mess and we each pay 2.50 a month towards extras. There was bacon. potatoes, mush, toast, jam, pancakes, and coffee for breakfast this morning.
