Leigh hasn't a bit of infection in his lungs so doesn't want to go to Kamloops were so many consumptives are. He could go up and stay with you without being much trouble. Of course dear Mother it will add a little to the work, but the poor kid would die of loneliness any other place and he has been so very good to me. Would you write to Mrs. Hughes by next mail, if you can find a spare moment. Your loving son. Vernon
