played a good many selections. It certainly was lovely music.

Thursday and Friday I was on stable piquet and managed to write a letter to Price. Having nothing better to do on Friday I went out to gymnasium. They have a paid instructor from the "Y" now and get from forty to fifty fellows on the floor.

Mrs Hall had one of her nice little Red Cross dances on Saturday. The Ellisons were out in full forces as usual. We had a very nice time. There was just the right crowd there.
