I was copying out the orders as they came through, my position was 10 yds. to the rear of the guns. The firing wasn't bad at all.

The dinner that was brought out was good. It reminded it of the dinners we used to have at Swan Lake haying.

We left the dug outs at 9.30 to let another battery in. We got home at 11.30 had some
