battery and got beaten, but hope to do better next time. The battery has some game on nearly every night.

One of the fellows in the tent has his violin. His birthday is on Tuesday so expects a big parcel.

I haven't caught up with my expenses yet. We would like to go down to Ottawa to visit Lill, so will have to save up. I hope the girls have told Lill we are on three hours run from there. Dear Mother I have not forgotten about assigning part of my pay.

Tell the girls not to forget the camera and films. Give my love to everybody at home. Your loving son Vernon
