seen 15 years service in India or some other place. He is a swell fellow. The fellows in our tent are all university fellows. I enjoyed the trip across in the train very much. We did not stop more than a few minutes in any of the large cities.

There 6 or 7 batteries now and more coming in every day. i will close now as I have very little time. With much love to you all. Vernon.
