I enjoy the life. We have riding in the morning and gun drill, a lecture or some like that in the afternoon. More of this darned infantry drill. We are practicing for the exhibition on May 30th. We are having musical ride, jumping Balaclava Mile, often drill, etc. I am going to go in everything I can and have some sport. I went to a dance at normal school last Thursday with Bert and had a fine time. Herbie spent the weekend at Hall's. Ellie has grown a great deal since I was home. She is a little girl now. Myra had a game of tennis at our club on Saturday. Everybody is well and smiling. With lots of love to yourself, father and the rest of the family. Vernon.
