Dearest Mother & Father

I hav'nt had any mail since a week ago Sunday so I hav'nt much to write about. The cold rainy weather has set in now so there is'nt much to do except to stand around and try to keep your self warm and dry it's pretty cold at night. We only have three blankets and the floor to sleep on-

I was out with Chick last night to the cinema show. We are following a serial picture play about the Mexican Revolution and it is awfully good.

Chick has put in his papers for the Flying Corps and I think he will make it all right a fellow under 25 that is single has to sign up for three years service after the war so it makes it kind of hard. I would'nt stay in the army after the war for a
