next week and if they will let me go. Cuckfield is only about an hours ride from here There are quite a few Okanagan men around this area and I am meeting them every day. Bob Powell from Lumby is in the B.C.R.D. and expects to be sent back shortly. Well Mother Dear I hope you are all well and not working your selves to death. I only wish I could get home to help Father a little instead of fooling around here. I think I could get a three months leave if I went after it but it costs too much for the journey.
