that is pretty lucky is'nt it. so far I am as well as any one could expect to be and I intend to stay that way as long as it is possible. Tell Elizabeth that it would be better if she got Bert to get me a good pair of horse hide gloves, (split) the buckskin ones will not last long in the wet.
