We have had a great change lately, our officer rustled us up a good cook, the first one that ever had a license to call himself such and he sure can cook, we are living like fighting cocks every body chips in so we always can have extras in the vegetable line which helps out a whole lot!

I was thinking of going into the cook house again while it was so wet out but as my leave is going to be here soon and I have a good billet with a stove in it
