Tell Elizabeth that the news is always very welcome. If you get the post and Life or any other good readable magazine ask her if she will send them on after you have read them. Pat Joyce was killed a few days ago. I am not sure if you know him or not. perhaps the girls will remember him.

Summer isn't here yet, it has been wet and cold all this week. My cold seems to have gone for good, I am feeling pretty good, but sometimes a bit homesick.

Happy Tongue is down at the base or at he was there. I saw him just before we left England.
