There is no girl living of higher [?] than she and through Frank's dastardly actions and his lying [?] she has suffered untold humiliation and consequent suffering. My heart bleeds for her absolutely and daily pray that it will get be in my favour to give her the happiness she so readily deserves. It is a great satisfaction and I appreciate it deeply to know that both you and Ruth are such staunch friends of Louis[?]. I am [??] to know of all the Broughams[?] troubles. There seems to be no easing of them. Billy is certainly absolutely [?] and a very cunning old devil. I am very pleased to hear that Daphne[?] is to be given a chance with his wonderfully rich voice and his good looks. If properly handled Daphne[?] should have a great chance.
