Dear Dear Dodie,
Many thanks for your letter dated July 2nd which I received only this morning having evidently chased me all over Europe. I am writing this at Branisholt Comomon but am leaving today for Lonans on train Staff there - so have no [illegible] coming on my part. Poor old maman has gone. I had a letter from a man who was talking to him a day or two before and am to meet him tomorrow. I received a letter from Bill Atuwn on Saturday. Atu is at Salon Ma and having the time of his life. I am very fit except rather lame and shall not be able to run around - much more. Yes I heard how S Vella and knew she was in Vancouver. Remember me to Mrs. Band.
