I miss him terribly.

A good many of those killed at the Somme were new officers whom you did not know and some like Gwynn Piers, Rolston Smith have been away for ages and did not get pipped.

Rossie did well with my old company. But the men were simply magnificent.

I have just been over on leave and my Babies are really beautiful.
