Dear Dodie
Another priceless letter from you thank you so much, what a splendid person you are to be able to write such a letter. So the 11th C.M.R have really left at last, they have been a long time about it; good for Dorothy Bruce, who is she in love with these days, & wonder if I shall see her in London if I ever get leave again; but at present all leave is stopped & heaven knows when it will open up again. I saw John Hope the other day just having returned from a month or so in England, he looked very tired & wasted out & dissipated, lucky person. John Jonthes[?] is I believe in
