Hun keeps pounding away at us morning, noon and night, we surely do go back at him too with everything we possess in the line of iron.

John Tait, Gwynn & Nigel O'Brien are in England on leave at present, and I go next week after having my leave put off about six times, I think I will go wild in London as I haven't seen a skirt for months, (seems years), and I hear the London girls are smarter than ever in their short skirts.

Francis Grosvenor returned from leave a couple of days ago and he is at present having the big sleeps, as he was all last night on a working party in the front line.

We very often run across the 16th BN. and they are all looking fine, John Hope is getting awfully fat and trench warfare seems to agree with him.
