H.M. Submarine H.3. 25:XII:15

My dear Dodie:

This is one of the worst days in the year. I have been pestered all day by dirty Maltese urchins shrieking for pennies. Unless you are at home, Xmas day is an awful trial. The last one I had was very much better, as we were diving for 21 hours of it off the mouth of the Weser, I think that I told you all about it and I wish that this one was the same. Have you ever been on board a naval ship on Xmas day? at the end of it everyone
